Federico Cirulli has been appointed Chairman of the Board at CFI Financial Group, a well-known leader in online trading services. This is the most recent development in the group’s transformation into a more institutional and scalable organization. The appointment comes after the group’s record-breaking trading success and ongoing global expansion.
This change is a reflection of CFI’s intentional evolution of its governance and leadership structure as the organization has expanded in scope and aspirations. It comes after Ziad Melhem was named Group CEO in June 2025 and the board of directors was strengthened in November 2025 with the addition of independent members.
Co-founders Eduardo Fakhoury and Hisham Mansour will become Non-Executive Directors of CFI Financial Group as part of this evolution, replacing their current positions as Chairman and Vise Chairman. While CFI’s executive management team and strategy are still in place, both are still on the board and completely committed to the group’s ongoing success.
Cirulli has over 20 years of experience as a leader in regulated financial services, having held CEO and senior executive positions in asset management and brokerage. His background includes worldwide expansion, company leadership, governance, regulation, and the expansion of regulated financial services companies. With a clear focus on scalability, operational excellence, and international expansion, he will take the lead and collaborate closely with management to support the group’s upcoming growth phase.
